TSANZ 39th Online Annual Scientific Meeting
14 - 16 March 2021
As a direct result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 39th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) of the Transplantation Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) will be hosted on-line. The TSANZ Scientific Program and Education Committee (SPEC) in conjunction with the TSANZ Council have designed a state-of-the-art virtual program convened by Dr Eu Ling Neo and A/Professor Philip Clayton. The ASM will feature internationally renowned speakers, complemented by local speakers.
There will also be opportunities for innovative networking and engagement, while ensuring the social aspects of the ASM are not overlooked, the details of which will be available closer to the ASM. As with previous years, the Postgraduate course (PGC), convened by A/Professor Chien-Li-Holmes-Liew and Dr Andrea Viecelli and Masterclass, convened by Dr Sanda Stankovic and Dr Tracey Ying will also be held virtually prior to the ASM.
We are confident that the virtual ASM and associated programs will reward attendees with a highly interactive, productive and fun event. All information can be found on the TSANZ website.

2021 RACP Congress Series

Transformation: Adapting for the Future is the theme of RACP Congress 2021, and this event promises to be like no RACP Congress before. Building on lessons learned from the past, and with an eye to the future, RACP Congress 2021 will be delivered across six cities in a series of one day events whilst also live streaming the experience.
Launching in Brisbane on Thursday 29 April and finishing in Wellington on 14 May 2021, the event will feature over 50 talks, workshops, panel discussions and much more.

ANZ PD Academy 2021

The ANZ PD Academy is a two-day academic course designed to help renal clinicians develop a sound knowledge of the principles of PD. The course is not affiliated to any particular institution or hospital. The PD Academy is accredited by the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD).
This well developed academic course is offered to clinicians who are motivated to develop their PD program by challenging practice and improving patient outcomes in their unit. PD Academy provides essential insight into PD treatments based on the highest quality evidence based practice. You will learn from key opinion leaders about best treatment practices, infection prevention and patient selection.
The PD Academy has four broad aims:
● To improve the quality of life and maximize the quality of care of PD patients
● To promote a philosophy of integrated care amongst renal clinicians
● To give confidence to those managing or starting a PD program
● To develop future leaders in PD A core faculty of Consultant
Nephrologists develop and present the course. PD Academy is supported by an educational grant from Baxter Healthcare to provide the faculty with full independence.

ISPD Asia Pacific Chapter Meeting 2021 Cancelled

With the COVID-19 pandemic, foreseeable difficulties of travel, and multiple international conferences in the coming year, the ISPD Asia Pacific Chapter and the Indonesian Society of Nephrology have come to the mutual agreement that the 10th Asia Pacific Chapter Meeting of the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis, originally scheduled for 21-23 October 2021, in Bali, Indonesia, will be cancelled.
