ANZSN jointly or solely administers a number of fellowships, awards and grants, with the aim of promoting opportunities for nephrological research and training in Australia or overseas.
The ANZSN Travelling Fellowship, Novartis Travelling Fellowship and the TJ Neale Award for Outstanding Contribution to Nephrological Science are administered solely by the ANZSN, and applications should be forwarded to the Honorary Executive Officer of the society (see application details).
Jacquot Grants, Fellowships and Scholarships are administered jointly by the ANZSN and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP). Applications should be forwarded to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (see application details).
A Fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Cambridge is supported by the ANZSN, Amgen and the University of Cambridge. Additional support is also provided by the Jacquot Bequest.
The Society makes available a number of awards at the Annual Scientific Meeting. Applications are called for as part of the abstract submission process, and are judged at the ASM.
ANZSN and society sponsors also make available a number of grants to attend meetings, including the Nephrology and Transplantation Update (Postgraduate Course), Annual Scientific Meeting, and international nephrology meetings. Applications for grants to attend the Nephrology and Transplantation Update and ASM are called for as part of the abstract submission process. A separate application process exists for grants to attend international meetings (see application details).
ANZSN members may also apply for awards from the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Australia (JDFA), administered by JDFA (see application details).
